Therapeutically Integrated Yoga And Mindfulness Approach

The 96-hour Children’s Yoga Teacher training course specializes in Therapeutic Play Based Yoga, Mindfulness, and Meditation with a Mental Health perspective. This training is geared towards professionals working with children in a therapeutic or academic setting who want to expand on their already existing skill set. TIYAMA Children’s Yoga School focuses on merging westernized approaches to mental health with easternized practices and philosophies. The aim of the program is to gain knowledge of a variety of techniques for the purposes of enhanced mental, emotional and psychological well-being for children and families. Education and experience with children and/or youth are required for registration and acceptance into the program.

Module #2 Training Includes the following topic areas with a special focus on mental health:

– pranayama (breath work)
