Play Therapy

Play & Expressive Arts Therapy

Play therapy is a form of psychotherapy primarily designed for children aged 3 to 12, although it can be adapted for adolescents and adults.  It is an impactful therapeutic approach facilitated by Certified Play Therapists and Play-Informed Therapists. Play therapy offers children a developmentally appropriate and engaging approach to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, promote healing and growth, and develop essential skills for navigating life's challenges.

By utilizing modalities such as art, play, sand tray, storytelling, and puppetry, the therapists at LPW skillfully create a secure and nurturing environment where children can freely express themselves and navigate their fears, concerns, and difficulties by engaging with children in their world.

Collaborating with parents and families, this process fosters a respectful and cooperative partnership to support the child's well-being.
