Why Work with Me
Maybe nothing is actually falling apart. You’re still showing up, getting things done, taking care of the people who need you, and managing everything life asks of you. From the outside, you may even look like you’re doing really well.
But inside, you’re tired.
Your mind rarely switches off. The things you used to handle feel heavier. You may be more anxious, irritable, disconnected, or simply exhausted by the constant pressure to keep going. Maybe you’ve become so used to taking care of everything and everyone else that you’re not even sure what you need anymore.
I get it—because I’ve lived it.
I specialize in working with teens and adults experiencing burnout, chronic stress, overwhelm, perfectionism, and the pressure that comes with expecting a lot from yourself. You don’t have to consider yourself a “high performer” to feel the weight of constantly doing, achieving, caring, or keeping everything together. Whether the pressure comes from work, school, sport, family, or your own expectations, therapy can help you find a healthier way forward.
Our work goes beyond simply helping you manage stress better. Together, we’ll explore what’s underneath the pressure: the expectations, patterns, beliefs, and roles that keep you pushing even when something in you is asking for a different way.
The goal isn’t to become less driven or stop caring about the things that matter to you. It’s to create a life where achievement, responsibility, and ambition don’t come at the expense of feeling like yourself.
My Approach
Grounded, thoughtful, and real.
My approach is relational, strengths-based, and deeply human. I draw from evidence-informed practices including narrative therapy, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and mind-body awareness, adapting our work to who you are and what you need.
I’m interested in more than the symptoms of stress. We’ll get curious about what’s driving them—the expectations you carry, the roles you’ve taken on, the patterns that are no longer serving you, and the stories you’ve come to believe about who you need to be.
Therapy with me isn’t about adding another thing to your list of things to “work on.” It’s a place to slow down, exhale, and pay attention to yourself in a way you may not have had space to do for a very long time.
I’ll bring experience, honesty, compassion, and gentle challenge when it’s needed. You bring yourself—exactly as you are.
You set the pace. I’ll hold the space.
